Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting me to a T - Tracey Odachowski :: April :: 2007

Hello again

Wow. I actually made it through an entire week off from here! I was tempted several times to sit down and type, but I made myself stay away for the sake of the wrist. It is feeling much better now. Still not 100%, but better. I’ve switched to being a left-handed mouse user for the time being to help it recover some more.

So, in the meantime, Easter came and went. And Spring Break.

Nothing really eventful to talk about for Spring Break. Poor Gabe - his allergies were in overdrive all last week, and he looked like he had gotten into a fight. So, even though the weather was nice for the first half of the week, we really couldn’t take advantage of it. Old Man Winter to the rescue…it SNOWED at mom’s house on Saturday???? Oh yes. It did…

Of course, within 30 minutes of it stopping, it was all melted. But it sure was nice just to SEE some snow for once! It’s been a while!

Easter brought tons of Weight-Watcher-killing candy/chocolate. Ugh. It wouldn’t be so bad if it was only the Easter Bunny, but we had an egg hunt at TJ and Debra’s house, and that damn Debra doesn’t know how to buy cheap candy that doesn’t tempt me whatsoever. Oh no. So instead, my kids have two HUGE buckets full of things like Twix, M&Ms, Snickers,…yeah, you get the idea. It’s bad. (please note the empty Twix wrapper currently sitting in front of me. At least they are snack size!)

I did manage to get a photo of the grandkids, though. This was especially difficult. Not because they weren’t cooperative, but because it was BITTER COLD and I had about 3 minutes to take 150 photos in the hope of finding just one that would turn out ok. There are a few, but this was just shows their personalities so very well:

(can you tell Chris and TJ were behind me, jumping up and down, making them laugh so we could all get back inside???)

Happy Easter everyone!!!!!!!!
