So darn exciting!!!!!

Ok, I don’t talk scrapping too much on here, but today I want to!!! I got to spend about an hour and a half on the phone today with Allison who designs the papers for Hambly. Yeah, she rocks. We are in the process of finalizing our picks for the design team, and it is just too darn EXCITING!!!!!!!!!! It is soooo uber cool to be a part of it! We had Alexis on the phone for a while, too, chiming in, and unfortunately Kristi had to head into New York for the afternoon, so I didn’t get to chat w/ her. But reading her emails are a hoot. Ok, we already know how close to Alexis I am, but it’s just so darn cool ‘meeting’ these girls online. Sometimes, I just love my life.

But anyway - the new team. Wow, this is so much harder than I thought. So many variables, and they aren’t just awesome layouts. Cuz there are plenty of those. Scrappers are so amazing to me. I wish I could share, but, alas, I can’t! But hopefully the calls will be out soon!!!!!! Thanks for letting me share!!!!!! (and, well, you know me; I love to be evil and tease people. bwahahahaha)

Dedicated to my Scrubby

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Not many men would understand the scrapbooker’s life, but my scrubby does. He doesn’t even roll his eyes when I confess that I didn’t make it to bed until 2 (or 3) am because I was ‘in my office.’ He gets it. He even tolerates some of the very crazy pictures of him that have been published in the magazines. I love my scrubby.

Hey scrubby, this is dedicated to you: The Secret World of Scrapbooking

(btw…Cheryl…you rock for posting this video. I’m still dying laughing over it!)

10.0!!!!!

The title of this post is:
a. My score at the Olympics in the gymnastics floor routine.
b. The name of an awful made-for-tv disaster movie (that was actually bad enough to have a SEQUEL!)
c. HOW MANY POUNDS I HAVE LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Duh, you had better answer C! (even though b is true, as well). Yesterday, Mo and I trekked the kids to our weekly Weight Watcher meeting, and I was so pleasantly surprised! You see, I met not only the goal that I had set for the end of June, but also the one that I had set for my birthday.

End of June goal: Get to the next tens in weight (i.e, if I started at 138, I wanted to changed the three to a 2 and get to the 120s. Not like that is where I started by any stretch of the means, but I’m still not ready to reveal how fat I really was 6 weeks ago…)

Birthday Goal: to reach 10 pounds lost.

So I met my bday goal a whopping 26 days early. Wait, it is only 26 days til my 30th birthday?? CRAP!!!!!!!!!

So now for my next mini goal: to reach my 10% mark by August 31. I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

Like the new Banner?

It was time for a change showing the new ‘do. All of the little accents are from the April free digi kit at Two Peas.

Zuzu…

has bloody diarrhea. Probably only because it is Father’s Day. Yes, Emily threw up on me for Mother’s Day, and Zuzu has diarrhea all over the kitchen for Father’s Day. We came home late last night to find the poor thing sitting in her kennel with it. EWWWWWWW. So, at 1:30am, I was giving a dog a bath. Only for her to have another accident in the kitchen floor 10 minutes later. (note to self, love this dog endlessly for not having any of said accidents on the carpet). So, we’ve made calls to the emergency vet, kept her on a water only diet for the past day, and given her Pepto-Bismal. (WHO KNEW you could give a dog that!) We’ve even had to move her kennel to the bathroom so that if she has another accident, she won’t have to sit in it. (we leave her kennel open and close the bathroom door). She seems to be feeling fine today, but still a little bloody, so we’ll probably have to go in tomorrow. So, why, you ask, does she have this? The most likely answer?

Emily fed her Apple Jacks yesterday.

Oh, and did I mention that I taught Em how to say ‘eeee-vil’ this week? Yeah. Appropriate.

On a lighter note, my hubby still had a fab father’s day because the Wife of the Year, who belongs to him, bought him his very own home-brewing kit. With all the bells and whistles. Yeah, I rock. He got it on Wednesday, and I think he’s just drinking beer so he can have an excuse to save the bottles. He’s too darn cute. But be warned, if you come to our house after the fall, you’ll have to sample Odie’s Special Brew!

She called him Gabe.

You don’t understand.

This is big.

She’s never called him Gabe.

First he was BaBa.

Then Buddy. He’s been Buddy for a very long time. It’s terribly cute.

But tonight, she called him Gabe. Over and over and over again.

It makes me sad. She’s growing up.

Knock Knock

blog: Who’s there?

me: Tracey.

blog: Tracey who?

me: Tracey, the chic who owns you.

blog: I know nothing of this Tracey person. She never visits me.

Yes, I have fallen into bad blogger mode again. Don’t know why! I have tons of pics and stuff to post, just haven’t been posting it, I guess!

For instance, today, my little boy left. Yesterday, he graduated Kindergarten. And today, he hopped into the front seat of Poppop’s pickup truck, with his suitcase in the back, and went to stay w/ my dad til Friday when we head up there for the reunion. How CUTE is that! It’s hard to say who was more excited, Dad or Gabe! and yes, I took pictures, but I haven’t downloaded them yet. And the reunion is this Saturday, so I”m thinking I’ll just have to do one big photo montage next week. Yeah, that will work. Will that get me off the hook?

Oh…and scrapping…last night I got THEEEEE coolest product in the mail from Hambly…DIVINE I tell ya, but you’ll have to wait til CHA Summer to see it!!!!!

C’mon get Happy!

Ok…that’s enough of depressing blog posts!!! Hence the title (of course, I’m going to be singing that song all day now…) I’m cropping tonight, going on a beach getaway in October, headed to Parent’s Day in 2 hours, and well, just happy in general! So time to switch the blog mood! So, I’ll post a pic…cuz who can’t love this cute face? (this one was taken at the zoo. Gabe and I went there last week for his field trip for an awesome, much-needed just Mommy and Gabe day. :) )
