Tonight, I became one of THOSE people
That has a birthday party for their dog.
Ok, it wasn’t TOO bad. We sang Happy Birthday, gave her a gourmet doggie ‘ice cream cone’ cookie from the pet store, and Gabe blew out the candle. She even got a new ball that she will most likely have to fight with Emily over. Perhaps even more revolutionary is that CHRIS, not *I*, CHRIS let her stand on the TABLE!!! Shocking, I know. No party hats or doggy spas, but still, it was a Dog Birthday Party. I would have never thought.
This is what happens when you have a dog AND kids.
The kids (well, Gabe, namely), made me do it.
Sure, blame the kids!! LOL! Too cute! Happy Birthday Zuzu!!

Love that cookie! Next thing you will be adding the dog’s name to your siggies, as in “Proud mama to Gabe, Emily, an Zuzu”
