In the last 45 minutes…
1. Emily threw up all over her sheets, and proceeded to rub it all over me.
2. I stripped the crib, her, and part of me.
3. Shoved Zuzu away from licking it up.
4. Threw both sniffling, stuffy, runny nosed, coughing kids in the tub w/ some vapor bath.
5. Started a load of laundry.
6. Bathed both kids.
7. Dried Emily and dressed her.
8. Cleaned blood out of her ears (don’t panic - it was just a drop).
9. Had her throw up on me again.
10. Stripped her and me again.
11. Shoved Zuzu away from licking it up again.
12. Put a new shirt on me.
13. Bathed Emily again.
14. Dried and dressed her again.
15. Listened to her with the stethoscope hoping that the wheezing was not music to my ears.
16. Went back upstairs.
17. Tripped on the dog.
18. Got Gabe out of the bath and dried him.
19. Realized that I didn’t rinse his hair.
20. Put Gabe BACK in the bath and rinsed his hair.
21. Dried him again.
22. Dressed him.
23. Went back to my bathroom.
24. Combed his hair and cleaned his ears.
25. Shoved Zuzu away from the puke AGAIN.
26. Cleaned up the 2nd round of puke.
27. Sighed a heavy relief when Chris walked in the door.
28. Cooked soup for Gabe.
29. Started a 2nd load of laundry.
30. Escaped to the office.
Yeah…that layout that I did a few days ago claiming that I love it when my kids are sick? I take it back. Of course, I did end it w/ the statement that they weren’t allowed to be sick at the same time. This is why. And did I mention that Chris and I are sick, too? Yeah, I love Winter. Ugh.

oh mercy. you so have your hands (and washing machine)full! good vibes coming your way that everyone gets better soon!!

Oh, Tracey. You deserve a break!! But here’s one thing to be thankful for: if they throw up on you, that’s less on the carpet.
Oh, and if it wasn’t hot dogs, another thing to be thankful for!
