Pumpkin Sightings!!!

Ok. For those who don’t know, I am the self-proclaimed pumpkin queen! MMMM!!! So, as much as I dislike the actual cold weather, I look forward to fall b/c I know I can satisfy my inner pumpkin child! So, I will try to keep everyone updated on all of the current pumpkin sightings in the world!!!

The latest: Pumkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Frappuccino at Starbucks!!! Oh, and for you ‘I only drink low-fat’ people…The wonderful girl at the Buck yesterday happily made mine lowfat by mixing the pumpkin frap mix w/ the lowfat coffee frap mix. While it was quite good, I later realized that it would have ROCKED if it had been mixed w/ the lowfat CARAMEL mix!!! Next visit….or maybe I’ll hit the drive-thru for breakfast tomorrow…

  2. Drive through Starbucks!! I don’t think I’ve seen one of those yet. Stuttgart got it’s first Starbucks recently. It’s down on the Pedestrian Zone and I discovered it because I was taking a photo of Andy and Andie and as I was looking through the viewfinder, there in the background were those familiar green and white letters. I was mad though because they took over 1/2 of my favorite kitchen store. LOL!!

While not a big fan of SB coffee in general, those pumpkin beverages sound delish.

And I have a punpkin sighting for ya, oh Pumpkin Queen. My counter!! I have two bright orange, sweet winter squash (squashes? how do you pluarlize squash) and they are goin’ in my oven in about an hour for my first batch of pumpkin soup for the fall Season. Isn’t today officially the first day of FALL? Horray! And I get your pumpkin fascination. There is just something about them. They are visually pleasing and anything made with pumpkin just tastes SO damn good. You know Andy and his pumpkin pie. I might just have to have one waiting for him when he gets home Tuesday afternoon.
